How it Works...

Once tint is applied to a window, the characteristics of how visible light comes into the car changes. Normal auto glass without tint reflects around 5% of visible light and absorbs another 5% so about 90% of visible light comes into your car.

Depending on the percentage of tint applied to a window, these percentages change dramatically. Some tints are more reflective, and others absorb more light. The number you will most commonly see is the Visible Light Transmittance or "VLT" , this tells you how much visible light is allowed to shine into the car.

Tint doesn't just block visible light. It also blocks cancer-causing ultra-violet (UV-A and UV-B) rays as well as infra-red (IR) rays that cause heat to build up in your car.

UV - ULTRA VIOLET - all Films from the cheaper to the expensive are 99% UV Reject - Don't let other shop throw it in your face as something fancy - your main concerns needs to be the quality of the film which brings heat reject and harmful rays away and the Installer - we use high end materials and also installers are experieced 15 Years, 27 Years & 37 Years in the tint world. Simple UV Analgoy we like to use is sunglasses - every pair of sunglasses you buy comes with a sticker states UV400 -  UV 400 indicates an eye protection item that has been optimized to prevent eye exposure to both UVA and UVB radiation. UV 400 protected items are capable of blocking light rays as small as 400 nanometers. This means that anywhere from 99 to 100 percent of the sun's harmful radiation is kept away from the eyes, which can make a big difference in eye protection as well as Tint Film - Very BASIC SO DON'T LET NO ONE FOOL YOU USING THIS TERM
